I started working on this page in Spring 2015 to record my awards for my own use. I expanded it after Matt Reynolds' death in June 2015. I started adding other family members I knew served in the military.
There is obvious styling which remains to be done but the basic format shows what an individual wore while in uniform. Take a look at MY space for a fairly complete version - I am down the list a little.
What I need now is content — names of medals and ribbons, and citations of the awards. I can download images of ribbons and medals when I know the award names. A PDF copy of the DD-214 service record should give me those names. A JPG image or PDF of the award certificate will describe the service being recognized - not all awards will have citations.
When hovering over a name at the top of the page, a title box appears showing spouse and parent information. When that does not display then I do not have information to create that box.
Click through the list below to find those in your branch of the family tree. Several folks might be working on information for the same person. Talk among yourselves as necessary.
