Three people were sitting in a car outside at the B&T convenience store at 20th Street and Miami Street shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday evening when shots were fired into the car. 19-year-old Walter Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene. A female and another young man suffered non-life threatening wounds. It appears that a shotgun and a rifle were used in the shootings.

Shots were also reported around 10:10 p.m. near 22nd and Ohio Streets, 24th and Burdette Streets and 20th and Miami Streets. The police had a large crime scene and were trying to determine whether it was stationary or moving. The victim's white four-door car was located just north of the B&T convenience store at 20th & Miami Streets.

At 5:30PM we will meet just North of the B&T Convenience Store at 20th Street and Miami Street. It was reported that the victim's car was in the alley along the north side of the store.
